Summary: Prepared for Coming Judgments
Practical Preparations
Minister to the Poor: There is only one type of Christian that I believe will survive and maybe even thrive during the coming Depression, and that is the Christian who is ministering actively to the poor. It does not matter how much gold you store up. It is only heavenly treasure that will do. Do not expect to do well if you only selfishly consider yourself and your own family. Those who are ministering to the poor and needy I believe have a chance to literally thrive in this situation, while those who hoard to themselves can expect God's great displeasure. He is simply not going to put up with it any more.
Strong Linkages: The other thing that will make all the difference is a strong linking of arms with several others of like mind. This too is very important! If you are part of a home group, then this may be fairly easy to do. Talk to them about it. Come together in a strong bond of unity between, say, four families or individuals. But watch carefully how you choose. These relationships need to be able to survive a prolonged crisis. You may end up living with these people. And they need to be a good fit ministry-wise also.
Two Vital Things: 1) Linking arms with a small close-knit group of Christian believers; 2) Ministering actively amongst the poor and needy - these two things will make all the difference! And we need to start doing this now. Don't wait until the crisis suddenly worsens. That may be too late. Start a free meal in your town. Do something! The hour is late. Everything I’m telling you in this is so critical, I literally do not know how to stress it enough - it is that vital! There are going to be people who ignore what I am saying here who will literally regret it for the rest of their lives. No joke. You can mark it down.
Prophet Deckard: The Lord spoke to me about a coming plague that will devastate the world. I prophesied many years ago that God will judge this world and we of this generation will see that happen. The Lord spoke to me and said, "The Pale Horse has ridden," and then began to show me this coming plague. A type of airborne flu virus will kill millions! Prophets often do not know the exact timing of the things of God, but only know they will appear as it was shown them. I would, however, suspect this plague to come within the next 5-7 years, maybe sooner, maybe later. Before it can come, God has to first warn His people about it and inform them of how to escape it.
Prepare for Judgment: Understand God's order during times of judgment. The prophet who foretold the coming judgment is given the instructions for survival. God demands obedience. His protection directly relates to our compliance. God gave this prophet the vision – now heed the instructions of preparation! You must begin to prepare by buying extra food and canned goods that you can store. I prefer high quality and perfectly balanced products with a one to two year shelf-life like Usana’s nutrimeals and bars (Dr. Grubb). Rotate this food according to expiration dates on products. You need to realize that family and friends you are trying desperately to convince of the coming plague, that think you’ve gone crazy, will be at your door one day hoping for a handout of food. Store as much food as you think you’re going to need for you and your family. If you can store enough for a year, that should be enough and more than you’ll need.
Consider All Areas: Water, food, sanitation, heat, light, and cooking. Consider all areas of survival: Things such as toilet paper, toothpaste, candles and oil for lamps, gasoline storage, water storage, matches, medical supplies, as well as special needs for babies and pets. Don’t become overwhelmed; take it one step at a time. Here a little, there a little. But do not procrastinate! Buy several different items, rather than a large quantity of one item. Start with planning for 1 or 2 weeks and get the supplies you need together. Then, progress to 1 month, then 3 months, until you reach your goal (Prophet T.E. Deckard, The End Time Messenger, August 2005).
The Urgent Plea: “We have a window of time for repentance” (Rev. Larry Stockstill, Bethany Church in Louisiana). It’s time to sound the trumpet! Pastor Stockstill hopes to blast his trumpet and rally many to address this crisis while there is still time.
Lay the Foundations: “We really have to relay the foundations of ministry in this country,” he says. “Many have not been fathered, so they become ‘posers’—they are just looking to impress people.”
Why Saints Failing: Pride, Stockstill says, is a primary reason why so many have fallen in recent years — including mature spiritual fathers who had years of successful ministry behind them but stumbled in their later years. “You look at leaders in the Bible like Solomon, or like Samson, and you find that years of success can lead a person into pride. And when pride comes, it brings a lack of accountability,” he explains.
Seize the Moment: Stockstill hopes many Christian will seize the moment and launch a movement to reclaim kingdom values including humility, purity, and honesty — as well as passion for missions and church planting. “We don’t have a lot of time,” Stockstill says, recalling again his dream about impending danger.

“We need a quick work of the Holy Spirit."
